Marriage and Family

Nearly half of people in the U.S. will divorce at least once in their lifetime; this number does not change among Catholics. When times get difficult, people first look to their faith and the Church for support. Your parish or organization can offer hope and healing for couples in your community. National Marriage Month (February) is the perfect time to consider hosting a gifted Catholic speaker who can shed light and equip couples with the tools they need to spiritually enrich their marriages, their families, and their lives.

"The Church is deeply convinced that only by the acceptance of the Gospel are the hopes that man legitimately places in marriage and in the family capable of being fulfilled."
-Pope John Paul II in FAMILIARIS CONSORTIO

"Never Leave Your Partner Behind" is a message that has touched thousands of couples in recent months thanks to the surprise independent film hit of the year, Fireproof. Endorsed by Catholic organizations like World Wide Marriage Encounter, the USCCB and Retrouvaille, the film is now available for parishes and dioceses on DVD. February would be a great month to host a FIREPROOF Movie Event and bring in one of our fabulous speakers. Read some of these stories of marriages saved. Imagine what your church or organization can do to save marriages this year!
