Vitae

VitaeA ground breaking new drama called The VITAE Monologues – The Monologues of Life – made its debut at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota in early March and is NOW scheduling bookings nationwide.

The two person drama is based on compelling true stories of men and women, exploring the difficult reality of post-abortion trauma. The play engages audiences to think about this controversial subject from a non-political and very real perspective, through powerful stories of hope and healing and the triumphant beauty of human life.

The play was created by Epiphany Studio Productions, a Catholic traveling theatre company founded by Jeremy Stanbary in 2003. Jeremy combines his passion and love for the Catholic Faith with his talent as a gifted actor, and has performed for thousands in the United States and at World Youth Day in Australia and Germany. One audience member had this to say, “I walked out of the auditorium feeling like I'd been turned inside out. This is a powerful play, but the word 'Play' doesn't fit. This is drama. These are real stories from real people. They will speak to everyone who sees The VITAE Monologues.”

The VITAE Monologues is an uplifting alternative to the controversial and sexually explicit play, The Vagina Monologues, which will be performed on 15 Catholic campuses in 2009.
